Trifolium arvense Fabaceae (Pea) Family Plant is an upright, hairy annual. Preferred habitat is roadsides. Distribution is throughout the Escambia region. Leaves are alternate on the stem; in sets of three (trifoliate); with leaflets linear to narrowly lance-like; no teeth and no lobes. Flowers are at the end of stems; heads in the leaf axil; five petals, off-white in color. May be rose or pink as well. Colors are pale and appear gray. Flowers occur in the spring and summer.
