Orange-Brown Lactarius is identified by its brown to orange
cap and stem. It has an especially unpleasant odor. The gills
are partially attached and may run down the stem; often creamy
in color. The entire plant is sticky to the touch, 2-3
inches tall and 1-3 inches wide. Its preferred habitat is under
