| King Bolete Mushroom is 3-10 inches wide and 4-7 inches tall. The cap is pale brown to reddish brown with a white underside that turns greenish-yellow or rust colored with age. The underside of the cap has tube openings instead of gills. The stem is bulbous, white near the top, and reddish-brown below with net-like ridges. Its preferred habitat is under pine trees. |
