Identification Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Page 372. The forewing is hooked at the tip, more sharply in females than males. The wings are orangish to reddish brown. The post-median line is sharp, hooking back toward the forewing margin as in the Curve-toothed Geometer. Caterpillar host plants are junipers and pines.
