Euchlaena pectinaria Geometridae Hodges 6735 September 13, 2006 Identification: Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Pg. 362. The wings are pale straw yellow, with variably heavy dusting of black and variable brownish shading beyond the post-median line. The discal dots are black and prominent. The post-median line is forked into two lines at the inner margin, continuing onto the hindwing, where it agaion diverges into straight inner and rounded outer lines before rejoining toward the anal margin. Caterpillar host plant is wild cherry. |
