Identification: (Covell, Moths of Eastern North America, Pg. 376) The wings are powdery tan to brown. The outer margin parallel lines may be inconspicuous, finely toothed. The ante-median and post-median lines are paler than the ground color and usually overlaid with brown dots. The sub-terminal line is more heavily dotted. Caterpillar host plants are Bittersweet, Goldenrod, Bedstraw, Willow and Oak
