| Blusher Mushroom is 2-6 inches wide and 3-6 inches tall. The cap is whitish, buff, gray, or brown (develops a pink tinge), with white or gray warts unless rain water has washed the cap clean. The gills are almost free from the stem and white. Its stem is creamy-white, with the collar visible on the top half. The base is bulbous or club-shaped. Its preferred habitat is open woods under broad-leaved trees. |
