The moth is pure white and nearly identical to the Pink-legged Toger Moth, but the coxa and femur of the foreleg is yellow (sometimes referred to as the bib). Some specimens will have black spots in the post-median and sub-terminal areas of the forewing. The caterpillar host plants are herbaceous plants, including dandelions and pigweed. |
